Tectonics and Resources

Research interests Annika Dziggel

Selected research interests

  • Archean crustal evolution and the question: when did plate tectonics begin on Earth?
  • Processes of orogenic gold mineralization in various settings and crustal depths.
  • Genesis of metamorphic rock-hosted massive sulphide deposits.
  • Processes of seafloor hydrothermal alteration in early Archean oceanic crust.
  • Metamorphic evolution and tectonic significance of high-P metamorphic rocks in the Paleoproterozoic.

Current and previous research projects
