Student Services

Psychological study counselling

The Psychological Student Counseling Service offers support for all personal concerns and problems that hinder or jeopardize academic success. Students can arrange individual consultations, use the telephone consultation hours, or participate in group programs and coaching. All services are free of charge.

Funding program

"Inclusive University"

With the funding program "Inclusive University", the state of NRW promotes the accessibility of learning and teaching. Sub-projects include, for example, the Contact Point for Accessible Examinations (KoBaP), and Peer-to-Peer Mentoring, for which students from the 3rd semester onwards are being sought as mentors.

mINKLUSIV is aimed at young female scientists with disabilities and chronic illnesses - both visible and invisible - and aims to enable female scientists to participate in research and teaching on an equal footing and with equal rights.

Consulting services for employees

The Representative Council for Severely Disabled Employees supports employees when applying for severe-disabilitystatus and measures to facilitate work, mediates in disability-related problems and monitors the implementation of legal requirements.
