Hydrogeology´s IGSH now funded by DAAD as a “Serial Summer School”
Since 2007, the “International German Summer School on Hydrology” (IGSH) is conducted as an annual hydro(geo)logical course for young scientists at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, funded by the German IHP/HWRP National Committee and UNESCO. The focus is on applied subjects that change every year. Starting in 2015, IGSH is now also funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) as a “Serial Summer School” in the program “Sustainable Water Management”. This year´s IGSH "Groundwater and Urbanization" will take place in August, „Groundwater and Agriculture“ and „Groundwater and Energy“ will follow in 2016 and 2017, respectively.
